Here's Funky Princess's afghan. It's finished!
I called it by many names while I was working on it, and finally settled on Chunky Braid Lace because the stitch I was useing was a modified Chunky Braid.
When I started this project I really didn't have any idea what I wanted it to look like. It was more of, do this and see what it looks like. I played around with several stitch combos until I finally found something I liked and went with it.
I wasn't planning on writing up a pattern until I got lots of requests for one from my online looming friends. Thank you all for your wonderful comments, you helped inspire me to finish it.
The pattern is available for download at http://www.box.net/shared/aefh6x4ibp

Note: This pattern was written for loom knitters. I don't needle knit so I'm don't know how to convert it to needles. If you're a needle knitter and would like to try to convert it, be my guest. If you come up with the conversion, send me a link and I'll post it. Just remember the original copywrite belongs to me.
